Going Green Matters was a huge success, thanks to our sponsors, exhibitors, volunteers and guests. The event attracted 1,000 people from nearly 20 communities - 150 exhibitor representatives, 150 volunteers and 700 guests, making it our biggest and best environmental fair ever. We collected more than 20,000 pounds of electronic recycling. Congratulations to our many raffle winners! Many, many thanks to the Event Planning Committee and all the adult and student volunteers.
The beautiful "I Can Do That" pledge mural created for the event by artist (and Environmental Commissioner) Debra Favre is available on loan to schools and organizations free of charge. Contact us.
